Greetings of Peace!
At the outset, I want to thank all of you for taking a keen interest in participating in the Anbiam gatherings, praying and celebrating Mass together, and in GIFT prayer and fellowship. We are glad to have all the nine (9) அன்பியங்கள் from Maryland, Northern Virginia & DC, namely,
Ashburn St. Theresa Lissieux, Herndon St. Antony, Fairfax Virgin Mary, Baltimore St. Jude, Gaithersburg Lourdhu Maadha, Washington DC Arokiya Maadha, Ellicott City St. Francis Assisi, Falls Church St. Joseph, and Chantilly Sacred Heart functioning well and contributing towards the spiritual growth and fellowship among the Tamil Catholics.
Now we would like to take this a step further. For a year or more, many of you have been expressing the desire to have a monthly Mass in Tamil for CATCA members, and in a fixed place. We know that there are many other groups including those speaking other Indian languages, who are already having the Holy Mass in their mother tongue, and that too, on a weekly basis. Therefore, our request for Mass in Tamil on a monthly basis is only right though a modest one. The Arlington Diocese had agreed to accommodate our request, and the search for a parish church began in February 2016. After a long wait and a complicated process of paper works and meetings, we can say, “Finally we have a place for our monthly Mass in Tamil.”

The CATCA Board and I as the Spiritual Director welcome you all to come and join us every month for our Monthly Tamil Mass per the attached Annual Mass Plan and for Fellowship and snacks following mass.
We want to thank Rev. William Schardt, the pastor of St. Thomas à Becket Catholic Church, and the Diocese of Arlington for providing us with church and facilitie.
