CATCA continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact through its dedicated community service and educational support initiatives. At the heart of its mission is a strong commitment to empowering underprivileged children through education. Currently, CATCA sponsors 105 children, providing $125 per child per year to cover essential educational needs such as tuition and related academic expenses. This financial assistance plays a crucial role in reducing barriers to education and ensuring that children from economically challenged backgrounds have access to consistent learning opportunities.
In addition to its primary sponsorship program, CATCA also extends its outreach to institutional support efforts, including assistance to Don Bosco Orphanage in Chennai, India. Through such contributions, CATCA reinforces its broader commitment to child welfare and community upliftment, supporting vulnerable children in safe and nurturing environments beyond its core sponsorship network.
Building on this foundation, CATCA is taking proactive steps to broaden and deepen its impact. This year, the organization plans to extend its support beyond tuition and boarding by introducing additional funding for after-school coaching and extracurricular activities. These enhancements aim to promote holistic development—helping children not only succeed academically but also grow in confidence, creativity, and life skills through sports, arts, and other enrichment programs. In addition, CATCA is actively exploring the possibility of expanding its sponsorship program to include more children, further widening its reach and influence in the community.
The strength of CATCA lies in its strong community-driven model. Its initiatives are powered by the collective efforts of 54 families and 9 young adults who actively contribute time, resources, and dedication to the organization’s mission. This shared commitment reflects a deep sense of social responsibility and unity, enabling CATCA to sustain and grow its programs year after year. Through this collaborative spirit, CATCA continues to be a powerful force for educational upliftment and community development.
