எங்கள் புனித லூர்து அன்னை அன்பியம் முதலில் மூன்று குடும்பங்களை உறுப்பினர்களாகக் கொண்டு 2013-ம் ஆண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. இன்று பன்னிரண்டு குடும்பங்களை கடந்துப் பங்கெடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் மேலட்ட குடும்பங்களை உறுப்பினர்களாகக் கொண்டு புனித லூர்து அன்னையின் அசீர்வாதமும், CATCA அன்பிய வட்டங்களில் வட்டத்தோறும், எங்கள் அன்பியம் மேலும் உறுப்பினர்களின் வழிகாட்டுதலோடும், ஆனந்தப் பயணத்தில் கைகோர்த்து செயலாற்றி வருகின்றது.
எமிட்ஸ்பர்க் நகரில் அமைந்துள்ள புனித லூர்து அன்னை திருத்தலத்திற்கும் வருடம் தோறும் வழிபாட்டு யாத்திரை சென்று, கூட்டுப் பிரார்த்தனை, புனித திருப்பலி மற்றும் பாவ நிவாரண திருச்சடங்கில் பங்கேற்பதும், அன்பியத்தின் முக்கிய பணிகளில் ஒன்றாகும். வருடத்தின் முக்கிய நாளான தொறா ஆண்டின் இறுதிப் பாரிஷ் விருந்து, அன்பியத்தின் குடும்பங்கள் (பிள்ளைகள் உட்பட) அனைவரும் பங்கேற்று, ஆனந்தமாய் ஆண்டவரின் அருளை நினைவுகூரும் என்பது எங்களின் உறுதியான பணி நோக்கங்களில் பயனளித்து வருகின்றோம்.

Honoring Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette
Founded in 2013, the Lourdu Madha Anbium was established near the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, Maryland — a place of grace and deep spiritual inspiration. Our proximity to Mother Seton, the first American-born saint, has been a blessing, and our members make regular visits to the National Shrine in Emmitsburg to pray, reflect, and seek her intercession. Drawing inspiration from Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette, our Anbium embodies faith, humility, and devotion, bringing families together in prayer and service under the loving protection of Lourdu Madha.
Our Inspiration
Before joining CATCA (Capital Area Tamil Catholic Association), many of us did not know other Tamil Catholics in our area. Through CATCA, we discovered a spiritual home — a community where faith and culture come together beautifully. CATCA has helped us strengthen our connection to our Tamil heritage while deepening our Catholic faith, nurturing a sense of purpose and belonging among families and youth alike.
Faith and Fellowship
Since its humble beginnings, the Lourdu Madha Anbium has grown into a close-knit faith community. We gather regularly for Holy Mass, rosary prayers, and fellowship, deepening our spiritual lives through prayer and friendship. Each gathering reflects the unity and love that Our Lady of Lourdes inspires in us — a reminder that faith thrives when shared together.
Guiding the Next Generation
The Lourdu Madha Anbium places a special emphasis on nurturing the faith of children and youth. Through Christmas and Easter celebrations, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and family prayer gatherings, our young members learn to live their faith joyfully while staying connected to their Tamil Catholic identity
Our Mission
Rooted in the spirit of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Lourdu Madha Anbium strives to live out Mary’s message of faith, humility, and love. Inspired by both Our Lady and Mother Seton, our mission is to pray together, serve others, and grow in holiness as one Tamil Catholic family.
Through our ongoing pilgrimages to the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, we renew our commitment to faith and community. We thank God for the blessings of these ten years and look forward to many more, trusting that Our Blessed Mother will continue to guide and protect our Anbium for generations to come.
