The Sacred Heart Anbium of Chantilly was founded on July 29, 2022, in Chantilly, Virginia, under the loving protection of Our Lord’s Most Sacred Heart. Though young in years, this Anbium was formed with a deep spiritual vision—to unite Tamil Catholic families in prayer, fellowship, and service, reflecting the compassion and love that flow from the Heart of Jesus.

Our Beginning and Mission
Our Anbium began with a few faith-filled families who desired to build a Christ-centered community rooted in the love of the Sacred Heart. With hearts open to the Holy Spirit, they came together to form a prayer group where families could grow in faith, friendship, and service.
The Sacred Heart symbolizes Christ’s divine love for humanity—merciful, patient, and unconditional. Inspired by this love, our mission is to spread kindness, offer comfort to the suffering, and strengthen one another in faith. Every family in our Anbium is committed to living out this mission daily through prayer, humility, and acts of charity.

Faith and Fellowship
We gather regularly to pray the Rosary, reflect on the Gospel, and celebrate the Holy Eucharist. These gatherings are not just moments of worship but opportunities to deepen our spiritual lives and strengthen our community bond. Families share their intentions, pray for one another, and find comfort and encouragement in God’s Word.
Our children also play an important role—participating in prayers, singing hymns, and learning to live the Catholic faith through shared experiences of fellowship. After each gathering, we share a meal and joyful conversation, fostering lasting friendships that extend beyond the church walls.

Acts of Love and Service
Inspired by the compassion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, our Anbium is committed to serving those in need. Through charity drives, food collections, and outreach programs, we strive to be instruments of Christ’s mercy in our community. Each small act of love reflects our desire to make the Heart of Jesus known and loved.
We also actively participate in CATCA events, including monthly Masses, retreats, and the annual Christmas celebrations, contributing our time, talent, and joy to the larger Tamil Catholic family in the DMV area.
